Privacy Policy
Borg & Borg Inc.; Borg Risk Management Services Inc.; and Borg Insurance Agency & Associates (referred to as“ Borg”) maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to protect its clients’ nonpublic personal information (“information”). Through this policy and its underlying procedures, Borg attempts to secure the confidentiality of customer records and information and protect against anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of customer records and information.
It is the policy of Borg to restrict access to all current and former clients’ information (i.e., information and records pertaining to personal background, risk management objectives, financial situation, financial and business information, account numbers, etc.) to those employees and affiliated / nonaffiliated entities who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to the client. Borg may disclose the client’s information if Borg is: (1) previously authorized to disclose the information to individuals and / or entities not affiliated with Borg, including, but not limited to the client’s other professional advisors and / or service providers (i.e., attorney, accountant, insurance carrier, etc.); (2) required to do so by judicial or regulatory process; or (3) otherwise permitted to do so in accordance with the parameters of applicable federal and / or state privacy regulations. The disclosure of information contained in any document completed by the client for processing and / or transmittal by Borg in order to facilitate the commencement / continuation / termination of a business relationship between the client and a nonaffiliated third party service provider (i.e., insurance company), including information contained in any document completed and / or executed by the client for Borg (i.e., insurance application, statement of values, schedule of hazard, etc.), shall be deemed as having been automatically authorized by the client with respect to the corresponding nonaffiliated third party service provider.
Borg permits only authorized employees and affiliates who have signed a copy of Borg’s Privacy Policy to have access to client information. Employees violating Borg’s Privacy Policy will be subject to Borg’s disciplinary process. Service Providers
We may partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

We may use Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our website. In addition, we may use Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our website. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. You can opt-out of having your activity on the website available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
